Initial Idea

<aside> ✍️ Midterm project:

FPJ (First-Person Josh)

Have you ever wanted to take Josh out for a spin? This may be your chance!

My plan for the midterm is to take principles of an FPV drone and apply it to Josh (me), having a interface for me and one for whoever is controlling me. I would have the live feed from the camera going to the observers, and the arrow/WASD keys of the observer create text prompts on my screen, with the direction showing as “go forward” etc. I think I might also have full text prompts in just natural language, like “pick that up”, as well as a way for me to send back a confirmation of the task being completed. I think this will be a challenging but doable project.

Connect → Check Status

→ if (Josh) {

looks like Josh is available to be controlled

→ go to controller

}

→ if (!Josh) {

looks like Josh is unavailable, would you like to be Josh?

→ go to dashboard

Josh opens prompt box, closes prompt box, takes submission,

submission shows on all screens, taps when completed, opens prompt box again etc etc
